44 Ball Valves
A
quantum advance in ball valve durability, cycle life, leak
tightness and automation. Flowserve Worcester Controls
Series 44 three-piece ball valves, for many years the most
respected ball valve design in the industry, are now better
than ever. A major research, design, and testing program
brings you a new valve, designed to ANSI B16.34 specifications
with advanced seal technology and body mount bracket design.
This means a very strong, tough valve that can handle pressure
and unforeseen piping strains with a stem seal that extends
operational cycle life and a standardized overall design that
keeps parts inventory to a minimum.

Series
45 Ball Valves
Compact,
Large Diameter, Three-piece Ball Valves. Substantially Reduced
Installation and Maintenance Costs. For OEM equipment
and packaged piping systems, Worcester Controls Series 45 ball
valves provide the best performance for the least installed
cost in the 21/2"–6" size range. Flanges are an
integral part of the valve design, providing savings in
flanges, nuts, bolts and labor. Three piece construction also
means that the valve functions as both valve and union. This
is a valuable feature in welded piping systems where line
breaks are required.

59 Ball Valves
Full-Port
Ball Valves. Manual and automated valves for processes
requiring maximum flow area. Full-port ball valves are
recommended for processes requiring minimum restriction
through piping, shutoff valves, and other equipment. For
example, pump inlet valves are often full-port valves.
Full-port valves are also useful in systems handling slurries,
viscous fluids and fluids with residues, and where the
capacity to pig lines is desired.

High-Per
Mizer
A
High-Durability Ball Valve for Superheated Steam,
High-Temperature and Abrasive Fluid Applications.
Metal-seated versions feature a unique and patented seat
sealing design, which incorporates an alloy stainless steel
seat impregnated with self-lubricating fillers. The rigid
metal seat construction is strong, highly wear and corrosion
resistant, and eliminates fracturing common to graphite-based
seats. Resilient-seated versions feature High-Per Fill®
seat. Proprietary to Flowserve Worcester Controls, High-Per
Fill is a blend of polyetheretherketone, glass and graphite
fillers. This blend strengthens, provides thermal resistance
even at high pressures, prolongs cycle life and reduces
operating torque. High-Per Fill is chemically inert, has a
broad corrosion compatibility and is a non-halogen (no TFE)
material.

D44/D4 Ball Valves
Diverter
Ball Valve - Separate Seats and Body Seals, One Flow
Direction. The diverter valve is designed to accept
media through a bottom inlet port and direct it out either of
two outlet ports. It is commonly used for alternately
diverting flow from a single source to two different lines,
for example dumping operations in which one outlet permits
media to flow from a common source to the process while the
other outlet alternately dumps or recirculates excess media.
3-Way
Ball Valve - One Piece Seat and Body Seal, Bi-Directional
Flow. The 3-way ball valve provides greater flexibility
in operation. Constructed with a one piece seat and body seal,
the 3-way valve permits flow in both directions. It can
function as a selector valve, alternately accepting media from
either of two inlet sources and directing through a single
outlet. Or, it may be used as a true 3-way valve, accepting
media from two inlet sources for alternate discharge through
either of two outlet ports. For example, in a pressurized line
or system, the inlet port pressurizes or fills the system. The
valve is then operated through its travel to allow the
pressurized contents to be discharged through the second
outlet port with the original outlet port now functioning as
the inlet.

Tight Shutoff to Either Line. Worcester’s Series D51
is a standardized line of flanged diverter ball valves in
sizes 2", 3", 4", 6", and 8" with
ANSI Class 150 flanges. D51 diverter valves are designed to
accept media through a bottom inlet port and direct it out
either of two outlet ports. They are commonly used for
alternately diverting flow from a single source to two
different lines; for example, dumping operations in which one
outlet permits media to flow from a common source to the
process while the other outlet alternately dumps or
recirculates excess media.

Cavity
Filled Ball Valves
Worcester
Controls offers the quality solution to sticking valve
problems ... cavity
filled ball valves. Some of the roughest process
control problems involve those in butadiene and styrene
services. These and other fluids such as rubber polymers can
polymerize in place. That means they can polymerize inside
valve body cavities effectively immobilizing the valves.
Worcester cavity-filled valves offer excellent performances in
control of pharmaceuticals, food products, sticky and viscous
fluids and slurries.

Electri-SAFE
is an Electro-Hydraulic Actuators
Worcesters
Electri-SAFE actuator is a powerful, compact and
economical means of electrically actuating valves in your
process while meeting your safety requirements. Electri-SAFE
is an Electro-Hydraulic actuator that operates like a
spring-return pneumatic actuator. You get the same speed and
reliability you are used to with pneumatic actuators, but far
more cost effectively.

75 Electric Actuators
Worcesters
Series 75 Electric Actuators add a new dimension of
operational dependability and flexibility to modern processes
controlled by computers, programmable controllers and other
electric control equipment. A multi-function capability
permits use of the Series 75 actuator throughout the process
for on/off, throttling, variable-cycle and any analog or
digital control. One of the most reliable electric actuators
on the market, the Series 75 is lightweight, compact and
powerful. Its split phase capacitor AC reversing motor or DC
motor drives a valve through a sealed, permanently lubricated
gear train which offers virtually lifetime maintenance-free
dependable operation.

39 Pneumatic Actuators
Worcester's
Series 39 Pneumatic Actuator design is based on the opposed
rack-and-pinion principle utilizing piston guide rods to
guarantee part alignment. The fully supported guide rods

bore. Where a compact, automated valve installation is
required, an end-mounted
limit switch module is also available with the Series
39 actuator.

CPT Control Valves
After
years of research and performance evaluation under severe
throttling services, where precise computer control was
required, Worcester Controls has developed the Series CPT
Control Valves. These valves exceed the performance features
of a traditional linear valve, as well as that of segmented
ball and eccentric plug designs. The Characterized Seat
Control Valve is a ball valve, but control capacity is defined
by a revolutionary patented seat technology. These seats
consist of a sintered stainless steel material that has been
fully impregnated with TFE or Graphite, then laser cut to a
customized shape to best suit the individual application.
Combine these capabilities with our high-cycle pneumatic,
electric, or electro-pneumatic actuators, positioners and
accessories, and you have a control valve package that will
meet the performance capabilities available with computers and
PLC controllers.

Round
Port
Control Valves
For
applications involving moderate pressure drops and
temperatures, Worcester offers standard round
port control valves in 3-piece, wafer, and flanged
valve body configurations. Standard seat material is Polyfill®
with other resilient materials available. Shutoff is
bubble-tight. control characteristic is equal percentage.
